Gray, Gerald

Currently the Coordinator for the Interagency Collaboration at the International Institute for Psychosocial Trauma (IIPT) in California, Gerald Gray works to bring clinical support to professionals in court settings who are traumatized or re-traumatized by hearing victims of atrocities testify. A clinical social worker in the practices of psychotherapy, Mr. Gray has concentrated for 20 years on work with refugee survivors of torture and other types of trauma. He has established and directed treatment centres and initiated two legal projects to bring international torturers to justice, including the Canadian Centre for International Justice. He has consulted on psychosocial trauma with treatment facilities around the world while maintaining a private practice for psychotherapy.
