Pearl Eliadis is a Montreal-based lawyer whose practice focuses on human rights, national institutions and democratic governance. She lectures in Civil Liberties at McGill’s Faculty of Law and is a full member of its Centre for Human Rights and Legal Pluralism. Ms. Eliadis has been retained by governments, the United Nations, the European Commission, the OSCE and international consortia and NGOs on a range of international human rights matters. Designated on the UNDP DG Human Rights Expert Roster, she has also published extensively on a range of human rights issues. Ms. Eliadis is a graduate of McGill University and Oxford University, and a member of the Quebec and Ontario Bar. In 2013, she was appointed President of the Quebec Bar’s advisory Committee on Human Rights.
