Session Overview

As we expand our series on Working with Clients who have Suffered Trauma, we delve a little further into the mental health issues that lawyers may experience throughout their life due to the stresses and adversarial nature of legal practice. Mental health issues are gaining the awareness and importance they deserve, and both lawyers and firms are recognizing that policies, work environment and culture and personal health play enormous roles in the mental health of practitioners. In this webinar, Doron Gold (Homewood Health, LSUC) explores the signs and symptoms of mental health issues, stress present at work, coping mechanisms, policy solutions for firms and case studies from his experience as both a lawyer and psychotherapist.

This webinar has been accredited for 1 hour of Professionalism content by the Law Society of Upper Canada.
